Beautiful music, beautiful cinematography. After this documentary I knew I wanted to live in Iceland. |

Opeth's Lamentations, for both the actual show and the happy memories of my life when I first watched it that it brings back. They played the whole of the Damnation album, with a mix of stuff from other albums as well for the second half of their show, and despite the fact I wasnt particularly a fan of the Damnation album, I loved this show. It was so mellow, and made me appreciate Damnation for how good it is - its now one of my go to albums when I need to think

I love Lamentations... but do they really need to show the inside of Mikaels nose so much, haha.
I saw them on that tour, but Martin Lopez had to fly back to Sweden, was having panic attacks.. so they couldnt play. They did a 6 song set though with their drum tech filling on for a few of the songs off Damnation. But that was all. If I remember they played: Windowpane In My Time of Need Hope Leaves Closure To Rid the Disease Soldier of Fortune To make up for it though they did a signing. Got a copy of "Blackwater Park" signed by them (which was stolen shortly after from my apartment) |

This is probably my favourite. It's brilliantly shot and the sound quality is top-notch, it's not over-produced and it kind of makes you feel like you're there. A really great set as well and brilliantly performed. The picture quality on the DVD is a lot clearer but this youtube video still gives you a good idea: |
