Beautiful music, beautiful cinematography. After this documentary I knew I wanted to live in Iceland.

Opeth's Lamentations, for both the actual show and the happy memories of my life when I first watched it that it brings back. They played the whole of the Damnation album, with a mix of stuff from other albums as well for the second half of their show, and despite the fact I wasnt particularly a fan of the Damnation album, I loved this show. It was so mellow, and made me appreciate Damnation for how good it is - its now one of my go to albums when I need to think

I love Lamentations... but do they really need to show the inside of Mikaels nose so much, haha.

I saw them on that tour, but Martin Lopez had to fly back to Sweden, was having panic attacks.. so they couldnt play. They did a 6 song set though with their drum tech filling on for a few of the songs off Damnation. But that was all.

If I remember they played:

Windowpane
In My Time of Need
Hope Leaves
Closure
To Rid the Disease
Soldier of Fortune

To make up for it though they did a signing. Got a copy of "Blackwater Park" signed by them (which was stolen shortly after from my apartment)

Such an amazing documentary. I saw it for this first time last week and it blew my mind. I have been listening to The Band non-stop since then. You can find the whole thing on youtube by the way.
This is a concert that I don't see much talk of in other talk forums.

You talk about a bunch of talent on one stage for one evening! Whoa!

The Band, Ronnie Hawkins, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Bobby Charles, are you kidding me?

A Solid pick by ADayInTheLife!

This is probably my favourite. It's brilliantly shot and the sound quality is top-notch, it's not over-produced and it kind of makes you feel like you're there. A really great set as well and brilliantly performed.

The picture quality on the DVD is a lot clearer but this youtube video still gives you a good idea:
