I studied some rubbish german pop bands, honestly can't remember who they were now. I'm pretty sure Franke Potente did a song? for the Lola Rennt soundtrack. not that that's what you're into, i'm sure. |

I recommend checking out Eloy. Really good German prog band. They're not Krautrock like most German prog bands however. They're more of a traditional prog band.

If you like Eloy, you might check out Birth Control. Although they have keyboards, they're not as symphonic. They're a bit harder, but not any harder than Deep Purple.
