Not being a middle aged woman might have something to do with that.

It's possible to be a Radiohead fan without being an insufferable fanboy, guys. :P

Hating on Radiohead is overrated.

Hahaha true, but I made this username in 2011 and have since discovered that Radiohead isn't the only good band in the world

IMO good Pop Punk = All, Descendants, Big Drill Car, Down By Law, and to a lesser extent NOFX (at least a couple albums) and maybe a few others I'm forgetting about now.
I'd beg to differ with Green Day... I think some of Green Day's new stuff is vastly overrated, particularly 21st Century Breakdown. But I think their first few albums before they signed to a major label are vastly underrated.

Descendents are up there among my all time favorite bands, btw.

I give a lot of recognition to Green Day for being one of the core bands from the 90's alternative rock/metal scene that has survived the elements.

The Smashing Pumpkins coming in on a close second, just less original members.

Primarily their stuff from Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The Offspring before the year 2000 were very good as well.

Green Days primal punk sound during their early years (debut), is individually unique when in comparison to the 90's grunge/punk sound & influrnce during that same time period.

I don't mind Green Day's first few albums to be honest. It's nothing fancy or innovative, it's just rock played the way it should be played. Of course, they've really never done anything different since then, and after a while I just stopped giving a ****.
