Seriously though: that song doesn't move you?

I love that song and album. Great duet

Which song? "Don't Give Up"? Yeah, I'm not a fan. It's probably the only song on So that I don't like.

He did a few songs with Kate Bush outside of Don't Give Up.

It's not that difficult to figure out.
His voice fits his music quite well if you ask me.

Did he? I'm not aware of any. On his own albums or on hers?

Neither. They did a Christmas special in the UK back in the late 70s.

Another Day is a good one.

He can hit all the notes but he can't sing them properly. You're only a good singer if you can hit the notes, no wavering, have good vocal quality, and a clear tone. Thom is lacking the last 3 criteria. So, no, he does not have a good singing voice.

He has an octave range greater than some instruments.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, BD... is there nothing to be said for expression and what you're able to convey with a voice? Why is "good" based in on technicality? Surely it's as subjective as whether or not a piece of music is "good"? Nobody's ever seriously tried to dispute subjectivity here before...

I think she was merely talking on a technical basis.
