Agreed except for Gaga and Britney.

From mainstream radio pop standards they're actually decent. Especially Britney's Blackout album. I adore it.

putting Shakira on that list is like one of these things is really unlike the others.

Why are any of these acts overrated? Apart from GaGa nobody around here touts any of the other names.
Or are just naming mainstream acts coz you think 'mainstream sux'

Agreed to an extent. They're quite one dimensional. Sure they've released a classic album, but that's it. In the span of 21 years, they were unable to create anything else and when they did it was a carbon copy of Loveless.
I think they lack depth to a degree, because they seem completely reliant on sitting back and letting Loveless talk about them as artists rather than creating anything new.

^agree. I like it when I see other people get annoyed by or dislike big name Pop artists. I think it shows individuality. I can't see liking everything mindlessly just because it is labeled "music." I think it's all right that people have boundaries and there are certain artist they don't like.
