Led Zeppelin one is remarkably superior. Those of you who choose against it in favor of an over-rated Indie band's worst album should be stopped from reproducing.
Well its kind of unfair to call it their worst album, they only had two. Aside from that Led Zeppelin is more overrated than Neutral Milk Hotel.

It's not possible to overrate Led Zeppelin. The worst album comment was meant to be a goof; However Again I reiterate, you can't overrate Led Zeppelin, calling them the best band ever would be accurate (Debatable sure, but accurate as opinions go) you can't be rated higher then best ever.

Lyrically Avery Island is far superior. Musically it's harder to get into, but just as good in the end. Led Zeppelin's debut is more greater, but not as good.

Led Zeppelin I is one of the five most important albums of all time.

I can't possibly imagine Avery Island impacted anyone the way Zeppelin I impacted my friends and I and millions of people like us.

That's my only point.

Taste is taste, I understand that, I'm just trying to display it in the context as I see it.

You're just wrong about the 5 most important albums. Top 50? Yep. Top 5, even top 25, no.

AHHHHHH

not this again, STOP

this isn't about "the most important album in history" is isn't about what effect the album has had

Look at the poll: Best Debut Album

This means the Debut album that you liked the most. I has nothing to do with how much influence it had, but how enjoyable it is to listen to. Yes, Led Zep are amazing, but I think, along with many others, that NMH are just as good, in their own way. it's two completely different styles of music. Just because someone like a band the most doesn't mean everyone else agrees, which is WHY we have these polls!

Bull. I don't see how Zeppelin could even be called the best when you have obvious bands that are better like The Beatles. Heck Zeppelin didn't even right their first two albums I think. Not sure though.
