Default Powerful Songs

Which songs do you think have a powerful meaning, or that perhaps remind you of yourself/an event that occurred?

Land of Confusion - Disturbed (the war with Iraq)
Mass Destruction - Faithless
Under Pressure - David Bowie
Stronger - Kanye West
We Want Your Soul - Adam Freeland
Mindkiller - Adam Freeland
Freak On a Leash - KoRn
Lose Yourself - Eminem

There are some others, but this is what I can come up with for now.

All my music reminds me of something and acts as a companion piece to my life. the most powerful piece of music I have heard is probably LOVE by JOHN LENNON. Never has a song been so painfully obvious and tender.

*shels' "The Conference Of The Birds" is one of the more powerful songs I've heard.

Van Morrison's Astral Weeks album is beyond powerful

It saved my life...I still can't listen to it with friends or family without having to leave the room. I don't know what it is, it's just so perfect and poignant, you can almost feel Van wanting to reach out to you for relief. I just felt like he completely understood me then, and still today despite how different I am then I was at 14 when I first heard this album.

lol not really...

A song like Down With The Sickness by Disturbed I could see some angry child using it like that. As in the song he curses at his mother because she apparently beat him or something like that.

And I just noticed someone said a song from A Perfect Circle, which brought me to add this other song:

Imagine - A Perfect Circle, I like it more than the original one.

^It was a decent cover. Didnt like a few of the liberties they took though. you dont mess with Lennon's art that is music.
