lol I thought you were going to say that it had too many commercials or that the sound quality was crap...

^ which is bs for the most part as most stations hardly have commercials and usually have good sound quality.

Try 'The Rev'. :::::96.2 The Revolution:::::
You'll need to download a small plug-in and open it with WMP to listen.

Stone Roses Mani and The Smiths Mike Joyce do a regular spot amongst others.
Bit of everything on here and they like to feature new bands.
And it's Mancunian, so it can't suck...it's a biological and musical impossibility.

Example; The last 3 tracks just played were...I Fought The Law - The Clash/Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division and Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick - Ian Dury & The Blockheads.

Impeccable taste.

128 isn't good quality. That's the sound of the mp3's on your ipod. It's accepted as good quality because no one wants to use up hard drive with anything better because that means ridiculously large files.

No that is what cd qualit at least used to be a year or so ago. They based there advertising at pandora, on how there music was broadcast in cd quality.

XFM is meant to be good, I've never listened to it though as it doesn't work for me.
