He's Bi apparently, he's still a great frontman and songwriter.

Led Zeppelin are living legends, no way should anyone be ashamed of listening to them :p:

I'm not really ashamed of anything I like, that would be rather ridiculous. But I do guiltily indulge in Eminem oftentimes, I guess that should count.

I love Cheap Trick and Pat Benatar

also been known to rock out to some Journey

Nothing wrong with that. If they hadn't have written that middle of the road crap in the mid- late 80s people would think them as cool as Big Star.

I do like MISS YOU but I have heard what they do a thousand times before. I appreciate certain bands carry a resonance due to growing up and for nostalgia. A few bands I like confirm this.

Men at Work for sure.

"Who can it be now?!"

etcetc_00 11-19-2007 12:16 AM

It's either Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Buffet, or Garth Brooks. My friends think I should be embarrassed that I like Prince as much as I do.

There's a few on these boards that wouldn't agree with your friends.
Prince seems to get a lot of credibility here.
I'm not a big lover of his, but I have to admit he's probably one of the most prolific and consistent songwriters ever.

Oh, Men at Work was a cool band!

Um... I still listen to a lot of the old Moody Blues stuff-- it hasn't dated well, but I still like it regardless. I grew up with it & I just don't care! :tramp:
