Default Hard/Melodic Prog Songs

I have recently (by recently I mean years ago) became enamored with songs like Stockholm Syndrome by MUSE and Never Enough by Dream Theater.

Anyone know of any other prog songs that have this same hard yet melodic feel?

The one DT song I really, really like..."Voices" from Awake. Going back a ways, Genesis "Watcher of the Skies".

*Warning: wank overload at 7:24-8:20

*Warning: 70's weird ie. the same people who made *shudder*

They fit the bill way back when I'm sure, anything more modern? You can really tell how the times have changed tempo-wise.

I remember the Land of Confusion video gave me nightmares. And I only saw it for the first time 6 months ago.

Well, yeah, but anything can be "prog" if you compare it to the right bands. "Bubblegum" sounds pretty progressive when you compare it to "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols". Doesn't make the Mark Lanegan Band prog.
