Yea dude, Foo's and FOB should not be in the same thread ever. And i think Foo's are because they reach to a much wider age group and have been around much longer. (been popular much longer, ever since first album after nirvana broke up)

I'm new... and this is not the kind of thread that I was expecting to find on a board like this one... I don't mean to be rude though... I just thought that the there was no point at all.

Sometimes I don't know why I ask questions via internet. Thank you all for such compelling answers.

Foo Fighters for sure.
Seriously, FOB sound the same...every song.

The end.

Dave Grohl is the most infuriating man in music in my opinion. The guy has a seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of hardcore , punk rock & 80s independent music , he always seems to come across as a nice down to earth kind of guy. And he does have talent even if you were never much a fan of Nirvana (like me) you just have to listen to QOTSA's Songs For The Death to see the kind of thing he is capable of.
Yet despite all that

He STILL insists on writing the most radio friendly boring middle of the road music for people who have no interest in music and just buy whatever they hear on TV or Radio.

Dave , mate , I want to like you but f*ck me you make it difficult.

I couldn't agree anymore with you. The last thing I enjoyed from Dave Grohl was probably Probot. That was an awesome collaboration.

This is like the other pointless thread, Nickleback v. Puddle of Mudd. It's somehow going to get dragged on for 8 pages until one of the mods gets so fed up with it and locks it.

^1/4 of the there already.
