Oyea, I don't think I've ever listened to a Pink Floyd album...

Was talking to a fellow music nut @ work today and we were saying that It's virtually impossible to listen to EVERY band worth their salt, otherwise you would never do anything else. I have been listening to a lot of post rock lately so that's my excuse. Sorry MB -i'm off topic!

That's crazy.
I just don't see how you could like Pink Floyd based on just the radio cuts alone. Pink Floyd has so many great albums, even beyond the ones they get the most credit for (Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall). You really need to listen to one of them, ANY of them from the '60s or '70s, to be able to appreciate what the've done. I love Atom Heart Mother and Meddle, but be sure to listen to some of their stuff from back when Syd Barrett was the songwriter (Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, A Saucer Full Of Secrets, the Relics Compilation).

Indeed. I have that problem too... so much music to listen to in the world, not enough time. And I have a lot going on outside music-listening/reviewing/playing etc.
