Really? I mean, it's their poppiest album since The Bends by far. Nothing too innovative, but that doesn't mean it wasn't one of Radiohead's finest.

You think? I dont compare it to The Bends at all. I know it isnt the most innovative album theyve done, I was comparing it to the White Stripe's 'Icky Thump' album in those terms. Also I didnt mention it was one of their finest but I think usually when an artist/band is at their most creative it can be hit and miss at times but it is usually their best work ( or perhaps more appropriately 'more enduring').
Anyway i aint got a problem with your opinion, I am only just starting to appreciate Radiohead recentley after years of loathing & I still think 'The Bends' is a kick ass album.

White Stripes. Radiohead has never done it for me.

I completely misread your post, took it as meaning Icky Thump is their most commercial and In Rainbows is their least musically.

Icky Thump isn't their most commercial though, you've got bagpipe ballads and all sorts going on there and the lead single is their most ambitious single yet, maybe GBMS pips it though. Marimbas man.

Can the mods either warn these two or close the thread or something? Christ... If you guys hate each other this much, take the battles to PMs and don't ruin threads ffs.

Thread clean.
If those two continue with their bitching at each other, please flag the posts.

It isnt that we 'hate' each other we were just having a topical discussion, whether it be conflictive or not it should still be allowed in the forum (IMO).
Also I noticed one member posted 'Ill get the popcorn' which I found quite amusing.
Dont worry its all done & dusted now (I won) & there wont be any more 'entertainment' for you anymore.

Ha! I don't think there was really an argument to 'win', you just came off looking a bit like you had aspergers and didn't seem to understand or just plain weren't reading my posts.
