Favourite Songs: Lucy The Castle, You Stole The Sun, She's A Weapon, Strife, Oh What Have You Done.

You Stole the Sun is such a fun song, a great pick-me-up. I like blasting it in my car on the way to work sometimes. And of course She's a Weapon in awesome too. Smash it Up was the first song I ever heard from them that I really liked though.

Fun band, their lyrics are just rhyming about nothing really, nonsense about getting your shades and water pistol and stealing the sun, but despite them being simple they're decent lyrics.

They asked me why I looked like a lobster, I blamed it on my ex who went to uni and I lost 'er. - love that line.

I bet it's a good album to drive to.

Paul Weller loves them, apparently their next album will be more politicised.

Javelin - No Mas

I've given it one listen so far and have already determined I'll be giving it many more.

Enjoying myself a bit of Physicist by Devin Townsend right now.... I love me some good intense heavy stuff sometimes... apparently his next album in The Devin Townsewnd Project series should sound a whole lot heavy like this album... can't wait!

Well, imitation is the best form of flattery. He probably loves The Enemy too. Both 2nd-rate versions of The Jam, who themselves were never even that good.

Paul Weller's taste in music is about as reliable as yer grandad's, I would say.

So true, Saying Paul Weller likes them makes them about as credible as Ocean Colour Scene.

Probably one of the cheesier items from my library, but I still love it all the same. It's got that great, laid back and infectious vibe about it that only a cracking country album seems to be able to accomplish. Very uplifting stuff, and one of my favourite albums for sure.

I think I've had this album for 3 years now and I still can't stop listening to it. Songs like Shiver Me Timbers, Please Call Me Baby and Drunk On the Moon are so blissful they're almost unreal.

Holy christ is The Heart of Saturday Night excellent. A true re-imagining of "In the Wee Small Hours..."

Fantastic!

Ain't it just!

In the Wee Small Hours... there's a fabulous little album I've not listened to in too long. Although I stay away from most of the stuff, you just can't beat some good torch music, easy listening (or whatever you may wanna call it) for that unique, coffee-swilling, night-in vibe. Scott 4 and Painted From Memory are another couple of great albums like that.

Couldn't agree more. Scott 4... what a beautiful album. Can't beat "Duchess"
