Edan—Primitive Plus

Edan—Beauty and the Beat

I'm loving both of these albums. I can't believe I'm only hearing them for the first time now. Thanks Jester!

Also...

Dr. Dooom—First Come First Served
I'm amazed I've never really heard anything about this album. Great stuff. Definitely on par with Dr. Octagonecologyst.

Wow. This album was my first real dive into IDM. I've heard IDM influenced works like Vespertine, but never the real deal. This album is simultaneously catchy, complex, and chock-full of melody. It's been on rotation in my stereo since I had it.

Oh wait, do you have the UK 10-track or US 15-track? I didn't realize it was actually only 10 tracks in the UK till about a year ago.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Haven't listened to that in yonks - I'm a bit too obsessed with Our Mother the Mountain y'see.

Jem - Down To Earth

A lot better than I thought it'd be. One pretty awful song aside, this is quite a nice cocktail of trip-hop, neo-soul and very memorable pop melodies. Nothing truly brilliant, but a good pop album all the same.

Aphex Twin is incredibly versatile...if you like that album listen to his Ambient Works albums. It's different but still really damn good.

CunninLynguists- Dirty Acres

Quickly becoming one of my favorite rap albums I've ever heard, the production is outstanding, the flow from all three members fantastic, the combination of rock, blues, country and rap with the beats and production is just something I've never heard before, very enjoyable work, now to go back to their discography and get their earlier works.

Brendan Perry - Ark

Just as rich, colourfully atmospheric and downright awesome as anything he did with Dead Can Dance. Easily in the mix for album of the year for me.
