She's the fucking Queen, I bet Gaga is just crying herself to sleep these past few days what with all the shit tonne of money she spent on promo for ARTFLOP and Bey just drops this masterpiece with accompanying videos which are amazing. She's everything Gaga wishes she could be tbh. All the other female pop singers are just drowning in her shadow rn. I especially love it because there's idiots like Katy Perry ****ting on women for dressing sexy and then Gaga saying she's not a feminist and here comes Bey with this extremely feminist, chart exploding album and it's just perfecttt auugh

This was the album that got me into this band, and the first track "F.U.G.I." with samples from Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now" was the song that got me hooked.

Mostly an instrumental album featuring bass, guitar, horns, drums & percussion, with some vocal samples added to some of the tunes. The album starts out with an instrumental funk groove (F.U.G.I.) and then goes into dub before getting progressively drum & percussion oriented with bass, guitar, horns and vocal samples giving way to tribal style drum patterns giving way to gamelan style patterns until only the percussion instruments remain.

Yndi Halda - Enjoy Eternal Bliss (2006)
A beautiful and uplifting mix of post-rock and modern classical. It's a shame this is the only album the band released. This is just what I need for the winter months.

Doesn't quite have the intensity of Altars of Madness but there's more variety on offer here, which is something I dig. Also, that's a seriously cool album cover.
