If you liked that album you should check out their 2008 album Speaking In Cursive.

Acoustic Ladyland - Skinny Grin

Chaotic - yet melodic - Jazz-Rock album. Really fantastic.

Danny And The Darleans s/t

Danny is Danny Kroha of the Gories as well as one of my favorite bands, the Demolition Doll Rods (who need to release another album as it's been 7 years since the last one). No surprise this is garage rock a la Eric Burdon/early Stones with a few fine covers such as the Strangeloves' "It's About My Baby" and Lou Reed's ""You're Driving Me Insane". But the original material is excellent as well especially "Where the Rubber Meets the Road" the slow burning "Les Fleurs Du Mal" and the first track, "Don't Get In the Car". Easily one of the better garage rock releases this year.

I've been in love with two albums recently.

"Yours Truly" - Ariana Grande
This album has me rocking everywhere i go. It has an old school feel and her lyrics and musicality are amazing. The album may have been out for some time no but i cant stop listening to it.

"PTX Vol. 2" - Pentatonix
Besides bein the BEST acapella group there is the album itself is just full of surprises. from their covers to their original songs they just keep you bouncing from start to end.

I'm tempted to give this a listen just because of the cover.

Masayuki Takayanagi & Kaoru Abe - Gradually Projection

I've posted about this album in this thread at least once, I'm sure of that. This is a brilliant improvisational record consisting of Abe on the bass clarinet, alto sax, and harmonica and Takayanagi on guitar. Both are very expressive and have a unique approach to their instruments. They run through several fields of emotion on this one and it's a powerful record. My one complaint is the recording quality as Abe's sporadic clarinet bursts sometimes overwhelm Takayanagi's guitar, but it's free jazz so maybe I'm setting the bar too high in terms of production. Musically, this is where it's at.

Tomorrows Tuplips - Eternally Teenage (2011)

I have a weakness for fuzzy Fenders and primal percussion. Lo-fi and modest, this album was recommended to me on Spotify and I am just digging the **** out of it.

Edit:

Add to this their follow-up album

Experimental Jelly (2013)

Just some hipster-as-**** happy noise.
