Internet Club - Vanishing Vision
I occasionally come across albums that I find to be the perfect thing to listen to at 2AM while lying in bed and feeling drowsy. This is one of those albums.

this album is perfect from beginning to end.

I'm listening to it a second time in a row tonight. I've always loved it but wow, I'm falling hard right now.

Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Trout Mask Replica

Ja, probably the 8th or 9th time I've posted about this album in this thread. I listen to it very regularly, once a week is a long separation from me and TMR; hell I love it so much it has a reserved spot in the limited space on my iPhone (a feat only achieved by This Heat's s/t and whatever Wolves In Sheepskin album I feel like listening to a lot, usually A Van Per Oven, Indecent Vibrations, or Lizard of Ox). I've got to say, this album really has me by the balls right now, almost in the same way as the time when I realized it was my favourite album (note that it didn't become my favourite album, TMR is everyone's favourite album, they just don't know it yet).

So ja, zany, cacophonous and avant-garde to the nth degree. If you love the album too, fist bump, if you don't like it, fist-face bump, if you haven't heard it, you don't know true happiness yet. Here's a fuckin Youtube link.

Perfect Beings - Perfect Beings (2014)

Modern Indie-rock meets old school prog. Insidiously subliminal stuff going on here: at first you aren't sure where the hook is, but before you know it you realize you're already on the line. :)

Bo Ningen III

Japanese psych-rock/acid-post/punk/space rock-funk band now living in London (vocals are in Japanese). There's a Black Sabbath/Sonic Youth/Savages thing going on in the music that I like. And it sounds like they were influenced by the Flower Traveling Band.

Sturgill Simpson Metamodern Sounds in Country Music

Cosmic outlaw-country. Described elsewhere as "Waylon Jennings on psychotropics". That's somewhat accurate though the songwriting is more Dylanesque than Jennings.
