This is a ****ing masterpiece like holy ****
If there's any album that I would call 'atmospheric,' it's for sure this album. "Revelation of Doom" is actually scary to listen to if I'm alone, and "Reap of Evil" and "The Return of Darkness and Evil" are just fantastic.

The crux of the album is probably variety though that's not that far off. 9/10 for me.

Fell asleep listening to some progressive rock last night. Woke up this morning with a desire to listen to one of my favorite well-known progressive rock albums. Love this album. I know some people argue Yes had more well done albums, and better albums, but for me this is THE Yes album. Love it.

James Brown - Black Caesar (Movie Soundtrack) (1973)

Currently digging "The Godfather of Soul" James Brown, lending his considerable soul/funk talents to yet another of my favorite films. Another soul/funk soundtrack that stands on its own and is a solid effort all the way through.

Different = Bad?

Maybe you put across what you meant poorly?

Whoops, you're definitely right about that! I meant that it sounds cacophonous, but it's still oddly appealing to listen to.

Remember Heavy Metal? That long forgotten genre lost in the quagmire of endless sub genres?

I cannot stop listening to this band.

Remember Hip Hop? That long forgotten genre lost in the quagmire of Endless sub genres? Yes I did post the same words twice. Absolute class.

Good to see someone NOT knocking these guys. I personally find that a fun, catchy, and rather addicting album. But among many of the metal fans I talk with frequently they say its to poppy and constantly complain about it and down. I love the album though.

Ghost is cool, definitely wouldn't knock them. They did an excellent 'Here Comes the Sun' cover.
