Giving this another, another listen. It's really growing on me. You should like it Frown. |
I'll scope it. I loved a couple of his features but when I checked out 4NML HSPTL I was very disappointed. I'm willing to let that go if this is as good as you say though.

Destroy All Monsters Hot Box 1974-1994 First time hearing them. Mix of art rock & punk. Definite influemce on Sonic Youth can be heard. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61kxCaeYY8L.jpg Parkay Quarts/Parquet Courts Content Nausea There's a Velvet Underground/Dylan "Subterranean Homesick Blues'-era sound here that I love. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51YGzXKztvL.jpg Alfredito Linares Salsa A Todo Sabor... Killer album from the Peruvian salsa legend is a mix of salsa, Latin Jazz and Afro-Cuban music. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...uL._SX522_.jpg D'Angelo And The Vanguard Black Messiah Vocals should be more above the mix but otherwise I'm really enjoying this release. |

Maybeshewill - Not For Want of Trying (2008) A mostly instrumental post-rock album. Despite being relatively short for a post-rock album it's got quite a lot going on, including metal riffs, piano parts and some electronic elements. The production also gives the album a nice loud, scuzzy feel. |

Beirut - Gulag Orkestar I didn't expect this band to sound like this at all. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but I love it. |
