I agree I think To Pimp A Butterfly is really good on the initial listen, I'll need to listen more to decide if it's AOTY worthy.

Also, I'm really enjoying Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett, such a laid back style but her stories are so well crafted. Plus, she can really play the guitar.

Wow, this is a totally different animal than previous Marching Church material. It's much closer to the last Iceage album, albeit more experimental and harder to digest. They're a full on band now, going from playing lo-fi, black metal inspired post-punk to this. Although maybe it's a sign that any newer stuff featuring Elias (vocalist) is gonna be getting progressively weirder. I don't know what to call this, like I said, it's in the way of Plowing Into the Field of Love, but with a wider array of influences. It's not album of the year but I'd say it's album of Kendrick's discography. I was just surprised after all the love for Good Kid.
