The general consensus seems to be that this is better than Curses and right now i don't agree but this is still Andy Falkous and co at their prime. I'm struggling to think of bands that are this abrasive yet accessible at the same time going the rounds right now. The humours still here too. Bring on more i say. Highlights: Arming Eritrea, Chin Music, Stand By Your Manatee, Drink Nike. |

Both by karate. Wonderful Indie Rock with very small hints of Jazz and even Post Rock. Simple, elegant, fantastic.

I've known of Karate for quite some time but never checked them out. I should add them to my long list.

I'm bowled over by them TBH and that's why music is always fascinating. Doesn't matter how much I think I know, there is another band hiding away for me to discover.

It's classic...what can I say. Some of her best songs, including a couple of my personal favorites "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man" and "Baby, Baby, Baby".

Rapeman - Two Nuns and a Pack Mule i know people are always saying how awesome Big Black is but this Albini project easily beats it...and Shellac too. awesome post-hardcore.

God damnit I am completely in love with the Church all overv again.... their recent album is just ****ing brilliant... full of the melodic beuaty that makes the band stand out... ande man, they've been doing this for nearly thirty years, while the U2s of this world sound tired.... these guys sound as fresh as a band that recorded its debut this year...
