I'm shocked that I've never really listened to Anthrax before because this album is fantastic. I've heard that this isn't even their best work, so that has me excited to hear their earlier albums. Still, a great release in this already great year for music.
I only have a best of album of theirs, but it's fantastic. Love listening to it. Especially when I'm in a thrash mood.

I'm planning to give their other work a listen now. I've been missing out big time.

Always.

Listening to their new record now. It's not bad. Have you heard it yet?

Not yet, I'm sort of playing catch up with them, but from what I ascertain J. Mascis is an awesome guitarist and singer. Guys got fucking chops. After I listen to the two records after Beyond I'm going to listen to the new one. It's got great reviews.

Until then though...

Snopp Dogg - Coolaid

I'm pretty hooked on this and Blank Face LP.

I have them both in heavy rotation.

The String Quartet Tribute to Elliott Smith - Vitamin String Quartet (2004)

I love this album. Pretty much some of Elliott Smith's best works performed by a string quartet.

Yes. Though obviously I prefer it with him, but it's interesting to hear it with just the music.

Russian Circles - Guidance

Not bad. Still miles away from their early work in my opinion but still a nice listen. Last track Lisboa is a highlight.
