Rad. I listened to it about a month ago, loved it, then forgot about it until this morning. Not a huge fan of their singer but otherwise the music is pretty much perfect.

It's been a minute since I thought about Virus. Cool band. Formed out of the ashes of Ved Buens Ende as I recall. I really should get more into them.

Sounds sorta like if The Pop Group was influenced by Mastodon and refused to use distortion.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I didn't know that but that makes a lot of sense.

You should check out the group they evolved from. I guess you'd call them... post-black metal? Or something? Whatever, they came from the Norwegian black metal scene in any case.

I like this better, actually. I'll check this record out next.

I am so very very stoked on the new Neurosis album. The last two, while still totally solid, are pretty weak efforts in terms of their discography. This one is better than them by a long shot, and since the gaps between their albums gas been pretty big, it's the best music they've put out in a long time. It doesn't try too hard to go over the top like the last, or recapture their old fire like Given to the Rising. Very efficient, doomy stuff. And Scott kelly's screams that I loved so much are back

Orcas - Yearling

Ambient album with some fuzzy guitar and lo fi vocals on some tracks. Interesting album.
