Take everything you know about that song and shove it up The Batlords ass. This album is fantastic and pretty much nothing like that hit. It's atmospheric. It's jazzy in parts. Fuzzy shoe-gaze dreamy space pop. It's awesome.

Allright, at the very least, I'm feeling curious. I'll shove it and then listen to the album.

I rated it a 4.5 on RYM. I don't do that often. It was almost a 5.

Can't promise I'll like it (after all, Nea says I'm always ****ting on all recommendations - probably even on purpose), but I'll give it a go and forgive them for that song.

I generally wasn't the biggest fan of that whole britpop thing - especially not while it was happening. There was a lot of better stuff they could have played in Danish music TV shows at the time, but instead it was an endless procession of britpop, Aqua and boyband videos.

I wasn't big on Britpop either, and I couldn't stand Richard Ashcroft as a person, but I still liked "Bittersweet Symphony".

Also, since you mentioned Aqua, I have to say I've always liked "Barbie Girl".

I don't know what Richard Ashcroft did, but at least he didn't create Barbie Girl.
