Well, now I'm getting drunk and spinning my Dr.John records. his first and most important to my heart, Gris-Gris, is up first. Back when I was a kid I used to pick out a record at random from my dads collection and spin it. I listened to this because pg.lost and Wang Wen did a collab and I hadn't gotten into their own stuff and man it's some great post rock. Definitely recommend.

I never realized how much of a brilliant record this was when I was in the post hardcore scene in high school. So many opportunities to seem them lost to the wind. F*ck.

I LOVE Astral Weeks but the rest of his stuff is meh. I saw that he plays with a bunch of people. His solo stuff though...so good omg.
