Good tunes. I was at work earlier and my boss put on Murmur and while great, it distracted me from what I was trying to do so I put some instrumental stuff on through my headphones. Later while running errands I put on Reckoning which I happened to have put on my iPod a few days ago. Then I played Murmur when I got home, and now I'm playing this. I like it and Murmur the best.
My favorite for sure. Can't beat Feeling Gravity's Pull.

Zarko's review got me interested in getting this, as I enjoyed Tobin's 90's material, and now that I've got it I'm liking Supermodified quite a bit; dark jazz that's weird yet catchy and accessible all at once.

by Dark Jazz do you mean the very slow and minimalistic sounds of bands like Bohen & Der Club of Gore, Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation?

If so I'd be interested in that.

I should clarify a bit; this is a dark jazz album that, for the most part, is not minimalistic. Think of a mellower Squarepusher crossed with the KDJE and you'll have a better idea at Amon Tobin's approach on Supermodified.

But yeah, I think you'd like the album. Check this out and see what you think-

I swear I'm the only person who prefers The Eminem Show to anything else he's ever done. I found it to be his most mature sounding album that had a minimal amount of joke songs, but still retained some of those elements. In terms of song writing I think it was his most powerful, each song proving a very true point about life.

I definitely enjoyed Eminem Show, but to me he never outshone the Marshall Mathers LP. And then after the Eminem Show, he kind of came up short with every succeeding album. Only a few tracks after that grabbed my attention like Encore and No Apologies and a a few others. His underground tracks are where its at though

I gotta say that for some reason, I never got drawn into the whole Eminem thing...now it's probably too late...

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
