Revisited the awesomeness that was Ki by Devin Townsend the other night... still an absolutely flat out amazing album, IMHO...

Today's batch...
^ An album (or, rather, double album) that I've had for a good 5 or 6 years and still sounds just as fresh, powerful and majestic as it did when I first heard it. The gospel choirs that the man opts for with this album (something he'd veer away from in future, unfortunately) really gives it such a unique edge among the rest of Nick Cave's discography. ^ And I'm still listening to this obsessively too. As I think I've alrady said in this thread, this album is so good it's unreal. Easily some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. |

Between The Buried and Me-Colors
i know many people here may find this album overrated, or think this band tries to hard to be "different", but i thoroughly enjoy it and see it as one of the best cds/songs i've ever heard.

Going to see them in 3 weeks. Will let you know what they sound like even though I'm not going to watch them specifically.
