dude, you still have not said who it is.

"Fantastic mix of Ambient and Modern Classical" sounds pretty cool to me

anyway, if you think nobody cares, then why do you post?

I actually just realized that this was the Albums Youre Digging topic and not Last Downloaded.. damn I'm an idiot. It's Richard Skelton's Landings. I suggest checking out all of his work

And why do I post? I dunno! Maybe just to find out if anyone is interested in weirdness like I am. I think you were the first person to ask what I posted in awhile. Maybe if I posted more info like why I think it's awesome then people may be more interested.

And if you assume no one will be interested, why post it at all? Yes the artist/album names are always helpful. Sometimes a name can interest someone and make them want to look into it. Even if the names are on the art...it's helpful to type it because 1) sometimes images don't show up (like when people grab images from sites that don't allow hotlinking like rateyourmusic.com or discogs.com) and 2) for search reasons.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Husky Rescue - Country Falls

this defies classification. it's sort of indie pop, sort of downtempo electronic...
think Air meets Hooverphonic.
it's Finnish. it's perky and fresh. it's really good.
so just listen and enjoy

(this next one is from their second album Ghost Is Not Real)

Why only post if you think others will be interested? The title is Albums You're Digging.. not Albums You Think Others Will Dig. I just post for fun. I didn't like having a low post count and staying in the Electronica section.. it made me look like a recluse or something.

Yeah I probably worded that wrong. I don't mean you should only post things others will be interested in, but that maybe you should want others to take interest, since we're on a forum and we're here for a common purpose...and therefore make it easy for them to know what it is.

Anyway I'm currently digging Madvillain's Madvillainy.

Currently Digging

I'm actually getting back into the Mountain Goats again, John Darnielle is a fantastic lyricist and while the music and instrumentation on this album is simple and nothing groundbreaking, the lyrics to these songs pack so much meaning and power that the I actually feel the misery of the Alpha couple.

and

This album is just so much fun to listen to, I highly recommend listening to this band because they are just so happy and cute and they will put you in a good mood.

Everything you post is badass, keep posting imo. You're one of the few people that I click every vid you link on here. 0_0

As for me...I must link this:

RJD2 - The Colossus

Excellent instrumental hip-hop with a heavy dose of beautiful song writing mixed in between. More listens are required, but I think this is my favorite album of his (yes, better than Deadringer). 2010 is kickin all kinds of ass so far.

The song I'm hearing as I type this. It's actually got the "hoover" sample from mid 90's techno goin on here. Most excellent.

Sleeping People - Growing

Mmm tasty math rocks from San Diego. Instrumental, but features guest vocalist Rob Crow (Pinback, Other Men, The Ladies, Thingy, Heavy Vegetable, etc) on the last track.
