Sage Francis's short lived Hip Hop project is still one of my favourite live band Hip Hop band albums.

Really like it, proves how brilliantly his songs work when stripped down, and whilst hardly of the same calibre as Illinois, nevertheless makes me glad his silence has ended and makes me look forward to The Age Of Adz all the more.

Is my favourite Sufjan album. Absolutely gorgeous. Far prefer the mood of this to that of Illinois.

Psychic TV/PTV3 - Alien brain vs Maggot Brain

new Ep consisting of two 13 minute tracks....a perfect exploration of creepy late 60s psychedelic rock with of course a bit of Genesis P-Orridge style singing...seriously this is one of the best things they've done in some years....a must for fans long early Pink Floyd influence psychedelic rock

^Psychic TV and Pink Floyd influenced psychedelic rock? That sounds like a match made in heaven (or maybe hell). I have to hear that.

Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley

It's taken me an inordinately long amount of time to get into Kyuss, considering how fond I am of QOTSA, but this stuff is killer

Sounds intriguing. PTV has always been kind of hit or miss for me. My favorite releases are the Electric Newspaper series (particularly the first edition), which is very psychedelic, uses lots of samples, and of course the trademark weird GPO vocals. I'll be checking this out, thanks. Weird the Amazon listing has it at 12 tracks.

this EP is a vinyl only release and is an extended version of Alien Brain from that album with a psychedelic version of Maggot Death on the latter side....and is actually a compainion piece to Mr. Alien Brain vs The Shinwalkers....it is a very limited pressing of brain "squashed" colored marble vinyl....although i think they are planning a cd release later

i just happen to come across a digital version....i'll send a link if you would like...in a pm....just let me know
