Little Dragon - Ritual Union I just discovered this band a few weeks ago because their latest album(this) leaked. I'm glad I did. Excellent electronic pop, this is more accessible than their other stuff, and they pull it off splendidly. I've listened to this once and I liked every song on it.

Beach House - Teen Dream Oh wow, I really love this. Very relaxed, dreamy vibe, with absolutely gorgeous melodies. One of my favorites of 2010. Sleep - Volume One I absolutely love Holy Mountain by this band and this one measures up fairly well. It's a lot sludgier and darker than Holy Mountain, and not quite as amazing but still pretty bad ass. |

It's two songs, one of them is just around an hour long of pure stoner drone noise, it's pretty awesome, but something that's definitely more of a background music.
Anyhow here's what I've been digging. Out Hud - S.T.R.E.E.T. D.A.D. (2002) Pretty good dance punk/ indie electronic album. It blends electronic beats with guitar riffs very well and can make you get up and shake your money maker, or if you're boring like me and just sit in your chair bobbing your head around like a pillock. |
