I've heard similar rumors. I hope it's true because I really would love a new Dre album. Especially if Kendrick Lamar shows up on the album.

I agree completely. I checked out The Chronic after I had been obsessed with 2001 and was underwhelmed. 2001 is also what convinced me to check out Eminem...way back when the Marshall Mathers LP was blowing up.

Yesterdays New Quintet Yesterdays Universe

Yesterdays New Quintet is a nu jazz side project by Madlib. He incorporates significant hip hop and electronic influences into his funky jazz wonderfulness, but whatever he's playing, it's magnificent. Don't let the jazz groups/artists he's "featuring" on every song, it's all him.

I've only listened to these so far, but they're both quite good. Maybe not mind blowingly good, but they will definitely be albums I'll listen to again soon... and that's saying something, since I have a sort of "one and done" attitude with albums.

EDIT: By the way, Stevie is an instrumental Stevie Wonder tribute album, which might be more awesome than the original versions.

Loincloth - Iron Balls Of Steel

Some kind of crazy Math Rock vs Sludge vs Metal release and I love it.

That sounds really good. The name of the band and album are stupid, but I like the description haha.
