Yeah, I don't know much about who she records with, if anybody. It may just be her doing all of the instruments via overdubs, but it sounds an awful lot like it involves more than one person... I'll have to look into that.

Transatlanticism - Death Cab for Cutie - I defy anyone to tell me this isn't a great wonderful emotional journey of an album, scattered with road trip references, failed relationship anecdotes, unrequited loves, heartbreak... it's such a complete little album, and it's definitely a big favorite of mine, and will be for some time to come...

DJ Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 3: Panama
Seeing as I was in a place where Trance was nonexistent, I only knew of the most popular tracks. Hearing songs I would have never known about, but still recognizing the old school sound, is a really weird feeling. Kind of like nostalgia.. even though I've never heard a good portion of these tracks before. |

Sigur Ros - Með Suð í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust I did liked Agaetis Byrjun more, but still a really nice album. It's Sigur Ros, what's not to like?

Spacemen 3 - Playing With Fire (1989) I listened to this today after god knows how long. It was one of my all time favorites. And it still is, it's holding up. I could probably listen to 'Honey' on repeat, one of the best opening tracks I've heard. This is, to me, the best Spacemen 3 album.

Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles II I may have posted about this before...in fact I'm almost sure I have, but I just wanted to emphasize how good this album is. If you don't like experimental music, don't get it. If you do, then this will be one of your favorite electronic albums of the year. I promise. I haven't even listened to their debut yet...I should get on that.
