If you put on "Another One Bite the Dust" in any club in the world today it would pack the dance floor.
Another One Bites the Dust is the most overrated Queen song ever and songs like that are pretty rare for them in the 80s anyway. There discography seems to be made up of crap like Don't Try Suicide and so on. That album marked the start of a terrible period for Queen. They changed everything they did and threw away all their credibility for synthesizers and boring 80s music.

Ok I get it, you don't like queen's bold change in direction.

Anyway thinking of 80s albums sure is stirring up a ton of brain synapses that have not fired in my head for a long time. I just realized there is no SRV on the list. I saw him live about 5 times through the 80s and was always blown away. Coulda been the mushrooms that made me forget. . .

You gotta have:

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble "Couldn't Stand the Weather"

Which also makes me think of Bowie's "Let's Dance" (his last good record) as he played guitar on that one.

I don't mind bold changes in direction as long as the direction you're going in isn't shit.

There's also a bootleg of the tour rehearsal that he played on before walking out before the tour started.

I think that's a pretty long list but very comprehensive I guess. I was growing in that era and some of the mentioned albums were just really amazing to discover. thanks anyway!

Bruce Springsteen "Nebraska"
Dead Kennedys "Plastic Surgery Disasters"
Gorilla Biscuits "Start Today"
Madonna "Like a Virgin"
Queen "The Works"
Queen "The Game"
Tears for Fears "The Hurting"
The Smiths "Strangeways, Here We Come"
Van Halen "1984"
Van Halen "Fair Warning"
I agree basically with removing the Queen albums, but what are your own reasons for that?

EDIT: Just saw it was answered elsewhere. Soz.

I said I get it!!

What about adding Stevie Ray Vaughan "Couldn't Stand the Weather"
This record has Cold Shot, Couldn't Stand the Weather, Scuttle Buttin' chock full of good nutrients. Keeps you healthy with soul food.
One record only for SRV!! you can take off a Sonic Youth Record or a Smiths (as if you will) record of your choice.

That record has more good music on than half the list you have up. (including the ones I have suggested that are still up)

Is it good? I'd be very interested to hear it.
