Yea makes great music.
I also enjoy his videos, especially for None Shall Pass.

Haven't seen it. Haven't listened to anything after Bazooka Tooth for that matter.

That's all I need. Bazooka Tooth was a bit on the Ghay side, not entirely but certain tracks. Made me wonder where the magic went. Apparently his new albums bangin'.

For me I guess there have been a lot of moments. I mean they're have been several different times when a world of music has just been suddenly revealed to me.

My first album I actually listened from beginning to end was Metallica-s/t. Which is funny because I hate metal now. I got into all of their pre 90s stuff and selective songs of the later stuff. The only reason I had those albums to listen to was my brother which is also weird because I'm 50 million times more into music now than he is. AFI-Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes got me into stuff that in general wasn't on the radio. Dinosaur Jr.-s/t got me into indie. Falling Forward-Hand Me Down got me into punk in general, namely emo.

For me, it pretty much comes down to the following four and what they did for me between the ages of about ten and twelve:

1.) Weird Al
2.) Marilyn Manson
3.) Smashing Pumpkins
4.) Green Day

For me it had to be Dookie from Green Day.....I ordered the cassette from one of the bmg type services and I fell in love....followed by Soundgarden which I didn't even know about until a DJ played BlackHoleSun for me when I called in to request a song they didn't have. The song they didn't have was a Smashing Pumpkins song but I don't remember the name of it....It had to be those three.

MXPX. I don't really listen to any of their stuff anymore. But I would definitly listen to their old stuff over their new stuff. Sick Boy and Chick Magnet are pretty much as good as it gets for nostagia.
