Wow, that was a really weird development. Mols, I'm not sure why you've declared garbanzo a spammer if you specifically asked for a site, not blogs or torrents, that offers loads of music. On the other hand, the whole "kick your teeth in" comment, jeez, a bit over the top, even for musicbanter...:\ Chillaxalate you guys...:|

Warez is a pretty popular, huge site as well so it's not like he's getting much for it, i'm guessing most people know about it anyway.

maybe it's my bad, but i'd never heard of the site before, my computer tells me it's dodgy etc... Basically without reprinting it word for word the PM had a very spammy 'wow look at this great new site', plus he wrote in the possessive as if this was his site he was flogging, I just thought i'd been duped and decided not to mention it to the mods.

But i guess if it's actually a really well-known site then there's no harm intended and maybe garbanzo doesn't live in a spam castle? If that's the case I apologize for any offense caused

nah it's not my site. i said 'we' because i'm a VIP there since i post so much in the helpdesk section. my enthusiasm was genuine, because i really like the forum. but really, join or not, it doesn't affect me one bit.

i might look like spam, and maybe i even smell like spam, but really i'm just ham that's gone a bit off

Just as long as you're not sending it to randoms who haven't asked for a link or help then it's fine.

rah. Bloody media-weary 21st century cynicism divides decent folks once again! But we got some pretty decent posts out of it that will be archived until the End of Time. Hungarian spam castles, threats of dental violence.... it's all good
