Despite their flaws, Tool was easily my biggest influence.

Several artists have had a profound effect on me: Wishbone Ash, Led Zeppelin, The Mars Volta, Moonsorrow and Enslaved are probably the most prominent, however Queen kept me sane for a long time after I stopped listening to metal when I was younger (didn't last for long though )

Ah, Wishbone Ash is a cool band. They have nice charm to them with their twin lead style. Moonsorrow is also cool (not that the others aren't). I enjoyed V - Hävitetty quite a bit.

I never got into V as much as everyone else did, but they had a profound effect on me with their earlier releases as I was discovering extreme metal, same with enslaved.
