Worst band on earth? (country, rock, genre, Coldplay, classic)

From their first album to the third so far, i can actually see a progression in their MUSIC, not just the lyrics, but the music as well (I actually thought I was listening to a mix of early U2 and Pink Floyd during their 'meddle' era). Compare that to the sterile and boring piece of turd which lands on your lap when you flick on MTV.
5. I just hate emo, and Coldplay is way too serious to be called emo (partially because I like some things about coldplay, and no, I'm not ***)

Your scope of knowledge (particularly regarding emo), is incredibly limited. The fact that you would call someone who listens to real emo music an idiot when most of what you know about it is wrong makes your whole pointless statement all the more moronic.

Do you know me? No. You can't say my scope of knowledge in general is limited. Well, you can, but it just makes you sound thickheaded. As for emo, I probably know more about it than you'd expect.

I do realize that MCR and The Used aren't 'real' emo. I've listened to 'real' emo as well, and though it's not as horrendous as MCR and The Used, I still think it sucks, and many emo fans come off as imbeciles.

Coldplay are not emo by any means, people would have to be the real idiot to believe otherwise.

I wasn't acting like the victim at all, I was merely doing what I had to do to point out the hypocrisy (and foolishness) of your post. The "My interests include..." post may have made me sound like a pompous ass, but it was, in fact, half-corrosive, somewhat of a joke.
