I will defend Norma Jean and say there is MUCH worse out there.

Definetely Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Hoobastank, All-American Rejects, etc.

Their lyrics have no depth and they aim their music at middle school girls. How "hardcore" are they?

They shouldn't even be in the rock category.

don't think green-day ever claimed to be 'hardcore' did they? they've always been a group of fun, cartoon punks. where do you think they should go?

I'll actaully defend Stryper, and go along with Christian death metal, (early) Mortification, some Toruniquet, all Vengeance Rising's stuff, superb greatness!!

i think that good charlotte and simple plan take the cake for worst bads ever. closely followed by fall out boy, hanson, and nickeback.

I don't think that Lucy has a clue what she is talking about. Not so much in Green Day's defense because I personally hate Green Day, but doesn't Wake Me Up When September Ends have some depth? "Like my father's come to pass, Seven years has gone so fast, Wake me up when September ends." Also doesn't Fall Out Boy pretty much have a song contributed to one of their friends on Take This To Your Grave? As of having music with depth, not really anyone but the artist truely knows. Yeah a majority of their songs don't have depth but some do. I mean I don't personally like any of the bands you listed, but in their defense there are way more "worse" bands out there.

Exactly Luke. I don't think that people are realizing the exact thought process about this blog. It isn't "Which band do you Hate the most," so everyone is putting down bands they hate. It's "Which band is worst." I mean come on people think about it. Are you telling me that Fall Out Boy is worse that The Spice Girls, or Los Del Rio, or I.C.P. I really don't like I.C.P. at all, but I really do think they are the worst musicians. I think their music is bull****.
