Bon jovi. Go back to there early days eg 7800 deg etc. What else around that time had that sort of guitar sound and still got commercial recognition without doing outragous antics. Some true classic songs that to me stand next to decide, cannibal corpse etc for originality and pathing the way for bands of today. In there own genre of music of course.

I hate Primus , I just find them annoying.

I would say that I do like that song they did with Tom Waits but it would probably be more accurate if I said that i`d like it much more if the bass player would just shut the f*ck up.
Which I guess is missing the point somewhat with that band.

Some listeners would say the same about Waits. Both guys have unique voices and both tend to grow on you if you like the music, and lyrics, etc.
