My first concert was Isis supported by Jakob... two of my favourite bands.

^ that's a good first gig.

I missed Isis when they played here because I was working. Now I do not have a job, and there's no sign of Isis coming back here. Bummer.

Can't remember which was my first gig.

It was either Marillion or The Stranglers I forget which. Both of which I got in for free because my mother worked at the venue.

The Marillion gig was one of the last they ever did with Fish on vocals and I went with my best friend who was a huge marillion fan. I remained bored throughout the whole thing & waited something like 2 hours to hear the one song of theirs I knew.

The Stranglers would have been more tolerable had it been the original band. Not with some muppet on vocals i'd never heard of.

Mom and Dad took me to see The Jackson 5 at the Arie Crown Theatre north of Chicago. My first concert on my own was Ozie - Blizzard of Oz with Randie on guitar.

Muse supported by 100 Reasons in 2001. Ye gods, that seems so far off now...
