What is your favorite genre of music? Who knows. At the moment, Post-Rock

Do listen to music when doing certain activities (ie. working out, or studying)?
Yep, with pretty much everything. Ipod on between classes, during study, walking to and from the car. Music in the car, music on the computer, stereo in the lounge.

If you answered yes for the question above, then what kind of music do you find yourself listening to when performing the activity? Driving: Whatever's in the CD player at the time (Usually Van Morrison/Kings of Leon). Studying: Explosions in the Sky or some Ambient stuff with no distracting lyrics. Otherwise: Random button on the pod

Do you find yourself listening to more of the 'music' in a song or the 'lyrics'? Definately the Music. I have a funked up attention span so if the lyrics are easy to pick up, great. If not, screw them.

Do you feel that you are/can be emotionally affected by the songs you listen to? Trick Question? of course

Do you have any strong memories that are attached to certain songs? Same as above

What is your favorite genre of music? EVERYTHING

Do listen to music when doing certain activities? Jogging, Sleeping, School. As much as I can

If you answered yes for the question above, then what kind of music do you find yourself listening to when performing the activity?

Jogging: Metal or Techno or Pop. Rise Against is good to listen to...Soad...MUSE...
Walking: Indie stuff or just music with deep lyrics. Placebo is good walking music
School: Borrrred. Anything. I'm desperate. maybe some rap ****
Sleeping: Soundtracks (LOTR, baby) Beethoven, anything classical, Trance Techno

Do you find yourself listening to more of the 'music' in a song or the 'lyrics'?

Usually I tend to listen to just the music. Rarely I'll pay attention to the lyrics. I'm not gonna judge if that's a good or a bad thing.

Do you feel that you are/can be emotionally affected by the songs you listen to?

Affected? sometimes. usually more for the next question

Do you have any strong memories that are attached to certain songs?

YES. Listen to a song, and I will relate a memory to it.

Yeah ok Lyrics are not such a big deal as everyone makes them out to be they are ment to be a tool when making music not what music is all about if I wanted to enjoy some clever writing I would read a good book or some poetry.
