I have a 4gig Nano as well. 830-some songs for a sitting is more than enough, but I hate taking songs I like off the iPod so I can put new ones on.

Yeah, but it doesn't really bother me. I don't feel like I need to have my entire music collection with me at all times. 4 GB is more music than I'm able to listen to in the course of a days travels anyway.

I have a four gig too.
I find the limitation to be quite a positive, because I can force myself to listen through entire new albums rather than falling back on old favourites all the time.

1962 on my iTunes, but I haven't added most of the stuff on my computer out of laziness, plus the downloads from Limewire, plus all the filled up 10GB external hard drives.

I am pretty certain I probably could fill the largest Ipod available... but damn, ya know, if they keep giving them more and more capacity, I am going to have to eat those words...

I am kinda not one of those people that need my entire music collection on an Ipod or Mp3 player - and I like how smaller capacity devices help me refine what I really want to hear... I am not incredibly fond of shuffling tracks, being more of an album listener than a track by track kind of person... that being said I don't mind shuffling my mp3 player or CD player when I am listening to music while driving, but when I want to "seriously" listen at home, relaxing at night, I like to take whole albums in one big chunk... thats part of the joy of music listening in my humble opinion...

Now if Billy Corgan would only understand half of his listener base enjoy their epic albums... and give up this silly "no albums" kick he is on...

At present I now have 6468 song on my iTunes library and as such they are also on my iPod

Although I have the biggest urge to delete a whole load of songs that I don't even listen to anymore... because, really, they're only taking up space at the moment
