Band of Horses debuted back in 05. Anyway my favorite bands of 08 are probably Grand Archives, She & Him, Fleet Foxes and A Weather.

There was an article in SPIN about all these new hype bands it was coupled with an interview with Vampire Weekend I can scan it if anyone wants.
