Default Reading/Leeds festival 2008

Lineup announced and tix on sale 31st of March

(i did try the search button Crowquil and only got a post on last years festival)

kind of wish I'd gone last year with the lineup they had

but here's some rumoured bands to be playing this year

Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers, RATM (as the headliners)

Kasabian, Editors, QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys
Velvet revolver, Enter ****kari (deliberate typo) Babyshambles
Silverchair, The Enemy, Yellowcard, jesus and Mary chain, The Futureheads
The rakes, The Go team, Serj tankian, Forward Russia, madina lake, Be your own pet

Reverend and the Fakers, British sea power, Goldfinger, less than Jake

Pendulum, The hives, thrice, Biffy clyro, hot Chip, bullet for my valentine
Pennywise, Alexisonfire, kids in glass houses, guillemots
Paddingtons, The Wombats, The Blackout, frank Turner, the Rumble Strips

pretty piss poor if you ask me

bands in bold are the only ones worth seeing (if only for their reputation as live performers which refers to the Arctics and Kasabian who I'm not big fans of)

There's a few there I could get into (RATM, Radiohead, Yellowcard, Silverchair).

Shame I don't have anything even remotely resembling the money to go.

Any rumours on the Dance/Punk tent? Few acts have play there over the years that were pretty good, especially considering some of the other bands on the line-up...

Haha, that's not actually too bad a line up for Reading/Leeds Fest >.< And they never run out of tickets, both day and weekend, as you can always get them on at the entrance, people just get really paranoid about it. If I've got enough money close enough to it and a few mates are going, I might too for a laugh.
