Friggin' Killswitch Engage, Slipknot, Arch Enemy all good to work out with...if you like metal that is. Some good songs specifically:

"Vermilion" -- Slipknot
"Archetype" -- Fear Factory
"The Quiet Place" -- In Flames
"I hate everything about you" -- Three Days Grace
"Rose of Sharyn" -- Killswitch Engage
"Nemesis" -- Arch Enemy
"My Curse" -- Killswitch Engage

I have lots more...but you get the idea! =)

I used to like Barry White, some Luther, Kook & the Gang and classic RnB for climbing Mt. Tamalpais in northern Kollyfornia: DigitalDreamDoor.com has "100 Greatest 'Classic' R&B/Soul Songs" ... Can't post the url until I get 15 posts it say.

Smile The Sounds

I have been working out to "The Sounds" recently - it really gets me going. Especially when I am on the treadmill, "The Sounds" is an awesome band to keep me motivated and I don't think so much about the workout burn.

Also, I would be lost without my iPod shuffle. It is so easy to workout with. There is a website that gives the iPod shuffle away for free, and it's definitely worth checking out.

Satisfaction - Benny Bennasi
Stronger - Kanye West
Nobody's Real - Powerman 5000
Out of Control - Hoobastank

Those might get you pumped up :P

Default Best workout & gym trax for my ipod?

... I need new music: mostly for running but also for a full gym workout... I need some suggestions as I'm tired of listening to the same old stuff. I tend to buy stuff on itunes, not really wanting to mess my computer with the pirate programs.......

I merged your thread with the one above.
Read through them and maybe you'll get a few other suggestions later.
