The Bends is a great album, but you should probably listen to Ok Computer to understand their change from britpop into more experimental art rock. After that give In Rainbows a listen, and then probably Kid A, I can send those to you as well.

I'm downloading Ok Computer right now. shiseido_red sent me Kid A. That'd be awesome if you could send me In Rainbows!

It was the same with me. I literally did not listen to any other bands. 25 out of the 50 of my top 50 played on itunes is all Radiohead and that was mainly from this phase. My friends also that I was insane because Radiohead was all I talked about, they didn't see how after 80 plays of a single song it didn't get old.

By the way, your avatar makes my computer go insane, there's too much going on in it.

Honestly the first time I heard Radiohead I didnt think much of them. First album was the Bends and through my first listen there was only a couple of songs that I liked. Then I listened again awhile later and started to like it more, then I got In Rainbows and started falling in love.

Well yeah it wasn't like love at first listen, because I had heard Creep a million times. But once I actually started listening to them for real I became obsessed.

So you only started to like Radiohead when In Rainbows came out? Thats weak.

I see. In Rainbows is the only Radiohead album I have yet to buy (not including Pablo Honey) but I don't plan on buying that.

I've always wondered if the band actually hates Creep like they say they do, or if they're just saying it for the sake of distancing themselves from their old sound.
