They're about not staying in one place, if that's what you're getting at.

Ah, that's probably a better way to put it than what I said <_<

EDIT: Apparently if you leave pics from 4cha up too long, the pic turns to a 4chan logo... sorry

So you expect them to invent a sub-genre with their next album?

I love the last half of Hail to the Thief, beginning with "We suck young blood", however, In Rainbows is the best, although only because the last half of OK Computer sounds very similar.

I was just trying to emphasize that they always like to be ahead of the pace

I'm not so sure post rock is quite that established. Commercially speaking, I think post rock has a bit further to go. There aren't really any super successful post rock bands, particularly in America.

True, but if you consider Slint's Spiderland a post-rock album, then it could be said the genre itself originates from the States.

Honestly though, I'd much prefer a prog-rock revolution than a post-rock one here. :P

The Bends, I really like High and Dry and Nice Dream. Ok computer has never really clicked with me for some reason. in rainbows was has a lot of good songs, but I think they get a little to much glory for it sometimes.
