No, they haven't really explored the jazzy sounds again sadly, although 15 Steps has a kind of jazzy hip hop edge to it I suppose.

I want a whole album like Life in a Glasshouse. Or Hail To The Thief 2. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that In Rainbows may be the strongest album they have made? I mean, compared to their others which have weakspots, this one has none.

that's different from the usual Radio-head who loves OKC

then again, my fave is Amnesiac so I'm not your typical Radio-head either

This is true, i never saw that sound in it before. But i think they have a song or two on HTTT that have a tinge of jazz to em; not much, but a little.

I wasn't very hot In Rainbows personally, but i agree with the other two assertions completely. Maybe not exactly a sequel to HTTT but a culmination of that sound with jazziness or more Amnesiac like stuff for me would be great.

It's underrated but definitely not their best. I think HTTT is by far their most underrated album.

I'm not sure if I'd want a HTTF two. I'd like a unique sound for the album, something that Radiohead seem to manage to pull off every time.

SGR 06-15-2011 04:23 PM

Yeah, I mean HTTT was a perfect blend of electronic and rock radiohead. Amneasiac had a jazziness to it that I'd love to see more of.

I forgot that Knives Out was really jazzy too. They should go in a Tom Waits Swordfishtrombones direction, only more Radioheadish.

Paedantic Basterd 06-17-2011 10:45 PM

I honestly feel they could excel in any style they so chose to attempt.

OOS 06-18-2011 12:06 PM

Personally i'd like to see them make a straight up pop album like a couple of them wanted to do around Kid A. Granted "straight up" for Radiohead would probably still be odd.
